TURKEY
OUR HISTORY:
The company's inception dates back to the 1960s, initiated by Mr. Khal Mohammad, a renowned expert in the rug industry. Mr. Mohammad embarked on his journey by curating antique rugs, laying the foundation for his venture. Originating from modest beginnings, he fostered collaborations with women from his hometown and neighboring villages in Northern Afghanistan. These skilled artisans handcrafted rugs with precision and expertise. Driven by unwavering passion, Mr. Khal introduced their masterpieces to the global market, thereby facilitating a connection between Afghanistan's cultural heritage and international clientele.
Subsequently, Mr. Khal launched the Khal Mohammadi collection, which garnered global acclaim for its distinctive attributes. These rugs, renowned for their organic dyeing technique, vibrant red hues, velvety textures, and unique geometric patterns, came to symbolize Afghan culture. Presently, the company operates across three continents, namely North America (USA), Europe, and Asia.

OUR FACTORY:
Our manufacturing facility is situated in Aqcha, a Northern region of Afghanistan. The vast majority, exceeding 90%, of our skilled weavers are local women who work from their homes in Aqcha. This setup provides a dependable income for approximately 2500 families who might otherwise struggle to secure work opportunities. Our complete production process, spanning from the careful selection of high-quality wool to the final packaging, occurs within a single centralized location to ensure unwavering quality at every stage. We place a strong emphasis on environmental sustainability by refraining from the use of machinery, thereby minimizing our carbon footprint, and leaving negligible impact on the environment. This commitment is particularly significant in today's era, where many products are rapidly being replaced by those manufactured using industrial machines.
